Profile, Key Qualifications and Competence

A well-seasoned, proactive and results-driven hospitality professional, with an outstanding track record of achievement in the hotel, tourism and leisure domain; with over 20 years’ international experience, has successfully flourished in the areas of service, customer / guest treatment, financial planning, development and leisure operations and wellbeing hospitality assets within hotels and resorts.

From 2017 I have taken a number of courses and studies to increase cutting-edge competence. Executive Education Certificate, Project Management. Prince2® Foundation – International Project manager Certificate,  Event Management, WSET Level 2 and 3 awards in Wines and Spirit.

From February 2019 I have worked for and taken more courses at vinmonopolet (The Wine Monopoly, owned by the Norwegian Government).

A culturally-attuned individual, engaging on multiple levels of project and touristic development and business operations, accomplishing rigorous financial objectives and leading hospitality projects from the conceptual stages, through to timely delivery. As a tenacious self-starter, with the energy and desire to succeed, continually embraces new challenges and thrives in highly pressurised and demanding work environments.

Management expertise:  Possesses commercial accountability for business planning, asset management, strategic planning, and project management. Creation of third party operator contracts, comprehensive operational development and leadership of leisure and wellbeing projects in both hotels and resorts. Has showcased the ability to successfully develop businesses with renowned global hospitality brands; a first-class business planner, attested when producing a detailed business plan for a hotel in Spain, using meritorious planning and research skills over a six-month period in order to prepare the project for implantation.

Leadership capability: A successful front-runner, leading all hotel employees, confident in managing, motivating and influencing others, to a high standard in order to achieve group targets; possesses the managerial self-assurance to make sound operational decisions; a proficient networker and negotiator; possesses the confidence to challenge others when necessary; outstanding financial attributes, exuded when dealing with cost planning and budgets, improving operating efficiency and when overseeing elements of HR, including recruitment internal associates and contractors.
